About the Casino Velden
The Casino Velden was opened in July 1950. At that time it was the fifth casino opening in Austria. The capacity of the casino quickly reached its limits and in the 1970s a open-air play area was set up. In 2004 the construction work on new casino was completed. The exposed location on Lake Wörthersee was used to carry out the Casineum am See expansion in 2006. The casino impresses with its immediate soul position and is considered one of the most modern casinos in europe. No admission is required to visit the Casino Velden. However, a minimum age of 18 years is prescribed. Visitors must be able to identify themselves with a corresponding document. Passport, ID card or driver's license are requested every visit.

The Casino Velden has a parking garage. This is open around the clock. 0.60 $ parking fee will be requested for half an hour. In the high season, the tariff is 2.50 $ between 7 p.m. and midnight. The tickets are devalued at the casino reception.
